The kick-off meeting of the C2Learn project took place in the premises of the coordinator, Ellinogermaniki Agogi, in the Athenian suburb of Pallini, on 15-16 November 2012. The meeting successfully met its objectives, namely:
• to develop a shared understanding on the substantive components of the project;
• to develop shared expectations about what each partner will contribute and how the partners will collaborate;
• to establish clear procedures of administrative and financial management; and
• to plan the first six months of the project.
On morning of the first day, introductory presentations aimed to develop an initial shared understanding about the substantive components of the project (WP2-5) and what each partner will contribute. Presenters gave non-technical presentations, provided examples and demonstrations when possible, and allowed time for discussion. On the afternoon of the first day, partners built on the morning presentations to have an extensive discussion about the synergies among WPs, in order to identify and resolve potential points of difficulty and to develop shared expectations about the collaboration among the partners, with emphasis on the first six months of the project. The first day was concluded with a review of the discussion, and dinner. On the second day, partners focused on the management of the project, as well as on dissemination and exploitation. The meeting ended with a review of plans and decisions on action for the first six months of the project.
