Ellinogermaniki Agogi is a private organization, officially recognised by the state as a provider of education at all levels from pre-school to upper secondary. In 1995, the organization established a Research and Development Department, a dedicated structure focusing on the design, implementation and support of pedagogical and technological innovation in educational practice, through work internally in the school and through collaborations with numerous educational, research and commercial institutions in Europe and the world. Since its establishment, the Department has coordinated and supported the participation of EA, either as coordinator or as partner, in more than 100 national and international collaborative research projects and networks, the majority of which have been concerned with the fields of science and new technologies in education. EA is also an institutional member of ECSITE (European Network of Science Centres and Museums), EDEN (European Distance Education Network) and STEDE (Science Teacher Education Development in Europe) Network. Ellinogermaniki Agogi is the project coordinator of the C2Learn project. EA brings to the project its rich expertise and experiences in the areas of education, teacher training and fieldwork in school contexts.
